Giteki checker — Japan radio certification, searchable in English

Every Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or cellular device used in Japan must hold radio-law certification (技適). This tool searches the official MIC database (… records) — and unlike the official site, it understands English brand names: try Anker, TP-Link or a certification number like 210-163545.

The index is being built. The certification mirror is seeding right now — check back shortly. Meanwhile the official (Japanese) search is at tele.soumu.go.jp.

JSON verification API

GET https://japan-warehouse-logistics.org/giteki/api/verify.json?num=<certification number> — free, CORS enabled, 30 req/min & 500/day per IP. Responses include an attribution field; the page or app displaying the data must link to loreatec.jp (same terms as the FX API).

Source: Web-API of the “Search for equipment certified of technical standards conformity” service, MIC Radio Use Web Site (tele.soumu.go.jp). This service reuses and processes that data; its content is not guaranteed by MIC. Data updated nightly (register as of —). Certification status can change — for a binding confirmation consult the MIC pages or a certification body.
