japan-warehouse-logistics.org is a free, curated directory of warehousing and logistics companies in Japan, together with practical guides for foreign businesses that import into or export from Japan without a local entity.
Where the data comes from
Listings are compiled from public sources: each company's own website and the public registers maintained by Japanese authorities, such as the warehouse-operator register of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT, 倉庫業登録) and the customs-broker and bonded-area lists published by Japan Customs. We verify that a company is licensed and operating before listing it, and we link to the company's own site instead of republishing contact details that could go stale.
How the site is funded
Listings are free and there is no pay-for-ranking. The site is operated by LoreaTec, an IT services and logistics company based in the Tokyo area, and carries banners for LoreaTec's own warehousing and device-deployment services. Those banners are the only promotional content on the site and are always labelled.
Guides
The guides cover the mechanics of importing into Japan as a foreign company: the Importer of Record, the Attorney for Customs Procedures (ACP, 税関事務管理人) system, customs duty and import consumption tax. They cite the official sources — Japan Customs, the National Tax Agency and the responsible ministries — and are reviewed periodically. They are general information, not legal or tax advice; for a binding answer engage a licensed customs broker (通関業者), a zeirishi (税理士) or the authorities directly.
